Whilst the vast majority of our customers enjoy gambling in a safe and responsible manner, for a small number of people gambling can have a harmful impact.
Answering the self-assessment below may help you evaluate whether you have a problem:
i). Do you gamble to escape from a boring or unhappy life?
ii). When gambling, and you run out of money, do you feel lost and in despair and need to gamble again as soon as possible?
iii). Do you gamble until your last penny is gone, even the fare home or the cost of a cup of tea?
iv). Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you have spent gambling?
v). Have you lost interest in your family, friends or hobbies because of your gambling?
vi). After losing, do you feel you must try and win back your losses as soon as possible?
vii). Do arguments, frustrations or disappointments make you want to gamble?
viii). Do you feel depressed or even suicidal because of your gambling?
The more you answer ‘yes’ to these questions, the more likely it is that gambling is a problem for you. If you wish to speak to someone about this please contact our Customer Service Team and/or one of the responsible gambling support services described in section 8 below.
You should also consider self-exclusion.
